Parsnip soup

€4.50 from Fumbally Cafe. Delicious.

Noshinton Cafe - South Circular Road

Such a cute cafe. You feel as if you're in someone's back garden. Probably because we actually were. I was hung-over to the max so Darren recommended the chilli con carne wrap. Oh boy did it sort me out. It had mince swirled with melting cheese, fresh baby leaves, kidney beans and a kick of chili in there somewhere. They waitress brought us out bottles of freezing water with glasses of ice - godsend to my parched body. We finished it all off with carrot cake to share which was stunning. Moist and nutty and had a thick icing. Nine delicia points for this little place. Check ‘em out on Facebook and directions are here.

Coppinger Row

One of my favourite eateries in Dublin. Tonight I got the Hake fish which came with new potatoes, asparagus, peas, muscles and a rich wine sauce. Absolute heaven. I had this topped off with two of their Gin Gardens. Drunk heaven.

The Fumbally

Meet my new favourite cafe. It's called The Fumbally just off New Street and is premium with a capital P. They opened about a month ago just selling scrambled eggs and falafels, and they did them WELL. The menu has now grown to feature a few more beauties all extremely reasonably priced. I love the premium hippy vibes. Everything about the cafe is earthy, wooden and friendly. Kyle and I got the avocado sandwich and a falafel. If you're about the Dublin 8 area, you would wanna call in. I give the place 10 delicia points.

Brick Lane BBQ

Touch down in London and naturally I'm STARVING. I get an almighty hunger when I go to places that I'm not fully familiar with. We stumbled across this open BBQ down Brick Lane. Vegetarian platter for £5.50. Where would you be? Someone in Dublin please make this kind of eatery happen. A BBQ just barbecuing delicious things. I can already see the queues at lunch time.

Superquinn raid

Anthony and I raided Superquinn for a luncheon feast. We made cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches with baby leaves and salad cream, Keogh's sour cream crisps and Copella apple juice. Lunch is just the best.

Benito's

Trevor and I ventured up Killiney Hill, walked to Dalky and ate in a delicious Italian called Benito's. They had a €15 set menu that included a starter and a main. Deadly value and unreal eats. We had a tomato bruschetta, a courgette melt and veggie pizzas.
