Giddy Goose Cafe

Trevor and I wanted to venture out of the city for the day. I love exploring, but ONLY if there is a promise of food at the end of the adventure. My life is generally centred around me getting to my next meal, the bits in-between eating are just time killing activities. Our expedition led us to Dun Laoghaire. Trevor recommended the Giddy Goose Cafe. Him, being the vegetarian he is, ordered the Monte Cristo roast veg & goats cheese panini and I got the Giddy Club, which involved; melted cheese, onion marmalade, chicken and their delicious grainy mustard. Both sandwiches were morishly delicious. They each cost around €6.50. Nothing on the menu was over €10, that's un-bloody-heard of these days. We finished it off with hot chocolate and a Mars bar square. I'd give it seven delicia points out of ten. Very cute place altogether. The toilets are also very gorge. Nice bathrooms are important to me. Check them out on Facebook here. If I were them, I'd have photo albums of their dishes. I'd click and drool through all of them.

M&S salad on the GO

I was beyond starving. I grabbed this salad and literally ate it whilst bombing it down Grafton Street. Couscous flying everywhere. I live for M&S salads. This one is a superfood one at €4.50

Marks & Spencer Chargrilled Chicken Pomegranate Salad

A newbie to the M&S salad range. I hope it's a keeper. It was a zingy lemon shower of freshness in my mouth. Delicia.

Kyle's dinner

French toasted sandwich with spinach, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and avocado. He's a food porn star.

My first roast!

Well Jake was the director, I just assisted. We used Heston's directions. We put a full lemon and cloves of garlic inside the chicken and smothered it in half a pound of Kerrygold butter. Check out Heston's poultry genius here.

Quick fix

Tesco Finest sun dried tomato & mozzarella ravioli with tomato & mascarpone sauce. It went down like chariots of creamy tomatoey silky goodness. I fly the Tesco Finest flag with pride.

Paris eats

I went to Paris & this is what I ate.

Steak and broccoli in olive oil - delish.

A barrage of coloured fun.

Tofu & spinach bags with mini pegs - I died

A rose maccaron - obvz

Fruit & a smoothie on the way over

A snack on the plane - it's the simple things

Ice cold Coke - heaven

A veggie club - I never heard of one either. Mainly aubergine & cheese.

A sandwich on the way home. Cheese & ham. Gorge.

Tesco Finest Pesto - AN ITALIAN DREAM IN YOUR MOUTH

You will not taste pesto as nice as this pesto. Best eaten by the bucket. I'd dip my bread in it any day. Also, you obviously need one tub per person per salad/ tube of pringles. Don't listen to the "serves 2" rubbish. I implore you, go now and buy some. I'm this close to just drinking it.
